Selected Poems  came out from Shearsman in April 2013, gathering together poems chosen from nearly twenty publications over a period of thirty years.

Shearsman also published a volume, edited by Ian Brinton, called 'An intuition of the particular': some essays on the poetry of Peter Hughes
This volume includes an introduction by Ian Brinton, interviews, and essays by Andrew Bailey, Riccardo Duranti, John Hall, Simon Howard, David Kennedy, Simon Marsh, Ian McMillan, Peter Riley, Derek Slade, Gene Tanta, John Welch and Nigel Wheale.
